Turner Heads Up Leadership Development Practice

Charlotte, N.C.  (October 19, 2009)--Kenneth D. Carrick, Jr., partner- managing director of Coleman Lew & Associates, Inc., a national executive search firm, recently announced the selection of Matthew S. Turner as the company's 11th partner with responsibility for directing and expanding the firm's highly successful Leadership Development Resources (LDR) practice.

            A United States Naval Academy appointee, Turner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Pa., and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  Career highlights to date include implementing an automated management and employee performance appraisal system for a multi-national company and serving a major Charlotte-based health care provider as Director, Leadership and Organizational Development and later as Assistant Vice President, Leadership & Organizational Development creating large scale organizational interventions and leadership development for a network of  216 physician offices. 

            Turner serves as a member on the Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) Advisory Board at Queens University in Charlotte and President of Mountainbrook Club, Inc.
