Carrick Named President of Coleman Lew

Coleman Lew & Associates, Inc. Announces Its Top Management Team for Future Growth

Charlotte, N.C.  (May 25, 2011) -- As Charlotte's longest-standing retained executive search firm, Coleman Lew & Associates, Inc. positioned itself for sustained future growth in revenues and clients by announcing the top management appointments of Kenneth D. Carrick, Jr. as president of the firm and Charles E. Lew as chairman.  Formerly, both executives served the firm as partner-managing directors.

According to Lew, "Ken's appointment as president focuses his considerable experience and expertise for excellence in service delivery and client relations while guiding all of the firm's partners and associates.  My new role as chairman will allow me to focus more on company growth opportunities with less administrative burden."

Carrick has managed over 200 searches in his 25 years as a search consultant.  He focuses in the areas of education, non-profits, manufacturing, retail, energy, and banking.  He graduated summa cum laude with a BA degree from Catawba College and an MBA from Wake Forest University.  Carrick began his career as an accountant with Duke Energy and worked for a nationwide insurance company before joining Coleman Lew & Associates in 1986.  He has been an active volunteer for service groups and youth sports in Charlotte and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Carolinas Chapter of the American Red Cross.  He currently serves on the Business Advisory Board for Catawba College's Ketner School of Business, the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Birth Defects Foundation, and the Americas Council Board of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).  He and his wife have three children.
