Laura Thomas Joins Coleman Lew
Charlotte, N.C. (July 5, 2011) -- Ken Carrick, Jr., president of Coleman Lew & Associates, Inc., an international retained executive search firm, announced the appointment of Laura C. Thomas as a search consultant for the company. According to Carrick, "Laura's wide-ranging experience in education and manufacturing is an excellent fit for our firm. Prior to joining Coleman Lew, Thomas was instrumental in the founding of Union Academy Charter School in Monroe, N.C. She served the school in key positions, including vice chair of the school board, where she raised funds and coordinated community involvement. Previously, Thomas spent ten years in the manufacturing industry as a top sales representative serving large retail clients. Additionally, she lived and worked in Germany for several years and is conversant in German. Thomas graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. She has served on the Union County Library Board and has been a member of the Monroe Rotary Club.
