
Merger/Acquisition Integration
As a Leadership and Organizational Development consultant to a Venture Capital/Tech Bank, Scott Golden, Coleman Lew's Director of Leadership Development Services, played a key leadership role in the successful integration of a complex merger among competitive technology lending banks with vastly different organizational cultures. Adopting a strategic planning model to the merger integration, Golden led executive training in the successful management of complex mergers and facilitated the creation of an innovative, multi-phased integration plan that was endorsed by the Senior Executive Team of the parent companies. Golden also conducted assessments on key executive talent, designed and led new executive team building sessions, facilitated the creation of new Mission-Vision-Values systems, designed key employee retention plans, led new leader transition sessions for merged groups, and led whole system transition training sessions. These innovative leadership and organizational development practices enabled a successful merger without unplanned executive or key employee attrition.
