Client is a $2 billion independent distribution company, headquartered in the southeastern US. The company continues to grow and currently operates approximately 83 distribution centers serving 37 states.

The Vice President of Strategic Planning will report directly to the Chairman/CEO and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for growing the business (acquisition - strategic), to challenge strategic thinking and management practices of senior leadership as well as assist CEO on day-to-day basis in providing analytical support.

The position requires an analytical, finance, and business savvy executive who can assimilate into a low margin distribution business and effectively deal with investors, banks, and financial markets.
