Charlotte, N.C. (February 21, 2007)--Charles Lew, founding partner of Coleman Lew & Associates, Inc., a national executive search firm, announced the recent acquisition of LaVallee & Associates, a Winston-Salem based executive recruiting practice, and appointment of Michael J. LaVallee as Partner.

According to Lew, "Michael brings to our firm more than 20 years of search and recruiting experience. He has led hundreds of successful executive searches for clients that include Fortune 100 companies." LaVallee will continue operating from his offices at 952 Bryans Place Road in Winston-Salem.

A Wake Forest graduate, LaVallee is the third partner joining the Coleman Lew organization since the fall of 2006. Earlier, Paulette Ashlin, a local Charlotte business executive, joined the firm followed by retired Georgia Pacific executive, James E. Bostic, Jr. The firm today has a total of nine partners as well as a team of consultants and associates.
